Make a new document

Open iA Writer

To make a new blank document:
  1. In iA Writer, choose File New
  2. When you’re ready, choose File Save
To make a new document based on an existing one:
  1. In iA Writer, choose File Open, and select the existing document
  2. Choose File Duplicate
  3. When you’re ready, choose File Save

iA Writer saves your document as a plain text file using the extension .md (in UTF-8 encoding).
